Avian Pox Vaccine, Live (Quail-Adapted Strain, CVCC AV1003) is designed to prevent avian pox, presenting as a spongy loose mass that easily detaches from the bottle wall and dissolves quickly after adding diluent, for subcutaneous injection at the blood vessel-free site inside the wing. Dosages are tailored by age and schedule: 1 dose for 20-30 day-old chicks, 2 doses for chicks above 30 days old; 1 dose (with vaccine diluted twice) for 6-20 day-old chicks. Reserve breeding hens should receive a booster injection 60 days after the initial chick vaccination. Immunity period is 2 months for newborn chicks and 5 months for adult chickens.

Ingredients and content:Containing live avian pox virus Quail-Adapted strain(CVCC AV1003) , the titer of avian pox virus is no less than 103.0EID50/dose.
Appearance:Spongy loose mass, easy to detach from the bottle wall, quickly dissolve after adding diluent.
Effect and purpose: It is used to prevent avian pox, with an immunity of 5 months for adult chickens and of 2 months for newborn chicks.
Application and dosage: Subcutaneous injection at the site inside the wing and without blood vessels. Dilute with normal saline according to the dosage writing on the label, dip the diluted vaccine with chicken pox needle.1 dose for chicks aged between 20 to 30 days,2 doses for chicks aged above 30 days; 1 dose for chicks aged between 6 to 20 days with vaccine dilute twice.On 3-4 days after injection, slight redness and scab appeared at the injection site, and the scab fell off on 14-21 days. Reserve breeding hens should inject again 60 days after the chicks injection.
Precautions:
- The vaccine should be kept in cold dark place after dilution and used up within 4 hours.
- The injection site should be disinfected during the injection.
- Used vaccine bottles,utensils and unused vaccine should be disposed harmlessly.
- Chickens should be checked one by one after 7 days of injection, and those who have no reaction at the injection site should be injected again.
