【Main Components and Content】

Each dose of the vaccine contains no less than  10^3.0 TCID₅₀ of attenuated peste des petits ruminants virus.

【Properties】

It is an off-white or pale yellow spongy loose mass that easily detaches from the vial wall and dissolves rapidly after adding diluent.

【Function and Purpose】

Used for the prevention of peste des petits ruminants in sheep. The duration of immunity is 36 months.

【Usage and Dosage】

According to the number of doses indicated on the vial label, dilute with sterile normal saline to contain 1 dose per milliliter. Inject 1.0ml subcutaneously into the neck of each sheep.

【Adverse Reactions】

Individual sheep may have allergic reactions after vaccination; generally, there are no visible adverse reactions.

【Precautions】

Diluted vaccine should be protected from direct sunlight. When the temperature is too high, keep it in a cold water bath during vaccination. Diluted vaccine must be used up within 3 hours.

Used vaccine vials, residual vaccine and vaccination syringes should be disinfected.

For vaccination of healthy animals only.

When vaccinating pregnant ewes, the restraint action should be gentle to avoid abortion caused by improper restraint.
