Reassortant Avian Influenza Virus (H5 Subtype) Bivalent Vaccine, Inactivated (H5N6 Strain H5-Re13 + H5N8 Strain H5-Re14) is designed to prevent avian influenza caused by H5 subtype avian influenza virus 2.3.4.4h and 2.3.4.4b branches, presenting as a milky white uniform emulsion for chest intramuscular or neck subcutaneous injection. Dosages are tailored by species and age: 0.3 ml per dose for chicks aged 2-5 weeks, 0.5 ml per dose for chickens aged above 5 weeks; 0.5 ml per dose for ducks and geese aged 2-5 weeks, 1.0 ml per dose for ducks aged above 5 weeks. Immunity develops 14 days after vaccination, with a 6-month immunity period for chickens; ducks and geese require a booster vaccination 3 weeks after the first immunization, with a 4-month immunity period.

Ingredients and content:Containing inactivated recombinant avian influenza virus H5N6 subtype strain H5-Re13 and H5N8 subtype H5-Re14, The HA titer of both virus before inactivation is no less than 1:256.

Appearance: Milky white uniform emulsion.

Effect and purpose:It is used to prevent avian influenza caused by avian influenza virus H5 subtype 2.3.4.4h branches and 2.3.4.4b branches.Immunity developed 14 days after vaccination and immunity of 6 months for chicken; 3 weeks after the first immunization of ducks and geese, booster vaccination once and immunity of 4 months.

Application and dosage:Chest intramuscular or Subcutaneous in the neck injection, 0.3ml per dose for chicks aged between 2 to 5 weeks, 0.5ml per dose for chickens aged above 5 week; 0.5ml per dose for goose and ducks aged between 2 to 5 weeks; 1.0ml per dose for ducks aged above 5 weeks.

Adverse reactions: No obvious adverse reactions.

Precautions:

  • It can not be used to chickens infected with avian influenza virus or chickens with abnormal health condition.
  • The vaccine can not be frozen.
  • The vaccine can not be used if there are other foreign mattersin the vaccine, the bottle is cracked or the vaccine is demulsified.
  • The vaccine should be returned to room temperature and shaken well before use.
  • It should use disinfecting utensils during injection and the needle should be changed in time, preferably one needle per poultry.
  • The vaccine should be used up within the decapping day.
  • The vaccine can not be used within 28 days before slaughter.
  • Used vaccine bottles, utensils and unused vaccines should be disposed of harmlessly.

Storage and shelf life: Store between 2 to 8°C,the period of validity is 12 months.
